OUR 2025 GALA

The ticket price includes a clear purpose-of-the-evening: to build classrooms, an arts studio, an outdoor performance venue, a principal’s office, and more. We also offer tons of delicious hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, a signature cocktail, a mocktail, experiential and meaningful auction items, awesome South African buy-it-now items, and being surrounded by a slew of good people with big hearts wanting to make the world better. We love this event and the people who attend.

The cost of a gala ticket is $135 each. We are happy to offer special pricing this year to honor students and educators, because what we do in South Africa we strive to do here, as well.

Please note that on November 11th, the week of the fundraiser, the ticket price will go UP for everyone.

Option 1 $25,000
20 tickets, website, social media, video, and program recognition, gala signage, spotlight during remarks, thank-you video, free merch, and event-branding: your donation will fund 100% of the costs of hosting the gala. With your donation, Universal Promise will name two classrooms or the performing arts venue after your loved one or loved ones.

Option 2 $10,000
20 tickets, website, social media, video, and program recognition, gala signage, spotlight during remarks, and a thank-you video: your donation will fund the venue and catering. With your donation, Universal Promise will purchase desks and chairs to seat 40 students in the two classrooms as well as the principal’s and the school clerk’s desks and chairs.

Option 3 $5,000
10 tickets, website, social media, video, and program recognition, gala signage, and spotlight during remarks: your donation will fund the DJ, the audio/visual team, and the buy-it-now items. With your donation, Universal Promise will fund whiteboards and projectors for the two classrooms.

Option 4 $2,500
four tickets, website, social media, video, program recognition, and gala signage: your donation will fund the gala beer, wine, signature cocktail, and other beverages. With your donation, Universal Promise will fund the teachers’ desks and chairs in the two classrooms.

Option 5 $1,000
two tickets, website, social media, and video recognition: your donation will fund the gala banners and displays. With your donation, Universal Promise will fund student chairs for one classroom.

Option 6 $500
two tickets, website and social media recognition: your donation will fund the gala printing costs. With your donation, Universal Promise will fund educational posters in each of the two classrooms.
