The Bullets Women’s Soccer team is neither new to Universal Promise nor a “one-and-done” kind of program. In 2022, they raised funds to build a beautiful playground (below) for a primary school, and in 2025 they are at it again. New year. New team. New goal. New motivation.
As of April 28, 2025, the team has raised $9,427 of its $10,000 goal.
In 2025, the Bullets are raising money to upgrade the soccer fields, netball courts, and volleyball courts at the same school they supported back in 2022: a Grades K - 7 school that is located in an especially poor region in rural South Africa. The school is in dire need of a sports overhaul. What better team to do it than the Gettysburg College Women’s Soccer Team? They have experience, and this time around, they will use the funds to upgrade boys’ and girls’ sports areas and to purchase equipment, from goals and hoops to benches and nets. In doing so, the team will show the children that they deserve better and that others care about them and their futures. Please donate today in support of both the Bullets and several hundred children who are simply yearning to play.
